    Compassionate professional personalized community care

I hired this family-run agency and was impressed by the passionate founder, professional and compassionate caregivers, and a truly community-focused, personalized approach to home care. They were responsive-put a plan in place within 24 hours, provided an in-home nurse, managed medications, arranged thoughtful home modifications, and their CPR/first-aid classes (Angela) were hands-on and confidence-building. The facility is pristine, staff are personable and trustworthy, and the transition to in-home care was seamless; I highly recommend them, with just a bit of room for minor operational refinements.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression I-CARE, Inc. presents as a family-run, community-focused home health organization that emphasizes personalized care and education. Reviewers consistently describe a strong emphasis on compassion and relationship-building: caregivers and nurses are repeatedly characterized as respectful, attentive to medical needs, and willing to provide extra support beyond core tasks. The agency also operates an active training program (CPR/first aid/AED) with hands-on instruction and a well-maintained facility, which is frequently highlighted as a distinguishing service offering. Caregiver quality and clinical support Clinical competencies are a prominent strength. Several accounts cite capable in-home nursing, reliable medication oversight, and rehabilitation guidance. Caregivers are described as professional and caring, with long-term relationships reported between staff and clients in many cases. The combination of skilled nursing access and caregiver attentiveness supports both medical and daily-living needs for clients who require ongoing assistance. Communication and office management Office responsiveness and early planning are commonly praised. Reported operational positives include prompt initial assessments (some noting plans arranged within 24 hours), quick responses to inquiries, and staff who guide families through decisions with candid, supportive advice. Ownership and management are described as personable and community-oriented, which appears to contribute to a family-like culture and direct accessibility to leadership. Reliability, scheduling, and flexibility Multiple summaries reference smooth transitions to in-home care, dependable aides, and flexible support that enabled clients to remain at home (including coordinated home modifications). These points suggest that the agency generally provides reliable shift coverage and practical problem-solving when adapting to changing client needs. Value and pricing Price-related comments indicate services are reasonably priced and seen as good value given the level of care and additional services (training, home modification support). The training program is noted as an additional value for families and caregivers seeking practical emergency-preparedness skills. Notable patterns and areas for due diligence While the predominant feedback is positive, there are isolated statements indicating unprofessional conduct by staff. These suggest potential variability in staff performance and occasional lapses in quality oversight. Prospective clients would be well-advised to confirm caregiver-matching processes, supervision and training standards, and the agency’s mechanisms for addressing conduct concerns or performance issues. Asking about backup coverage, how medication management is audited, and who oversees caregiver competencies can help mitigate the operational risks implied by the isolated negative note. Bottom line I-CARE, Inc. appears to be a compassionate, clinically capable, and community-minded provider with strong training offerings and generally reliable service. The agency’s strengths include skilled nursing support, responsive office communication, personalized care plans, and practical supports like home modifications. Prospective clients should consider confirming supervisory and quality-control practices to ensure consistency of professionalism across all caregivers.
