Attentive Care

    Compassionate professional caregivers, organized, reliable

I had a very positive experience - excellent free PCA/HHA training with knowledgeable RNs (Julie, Beverly, Vicky), organized and supportive HR/orientation, and compassionate, dependable caregivers who were punctual and responsive. The office was professional, communicative, and flexible with scheduling; I'd recommend them as a strong, trustworthy choice with only minor room to improve.

    Summary of reviews

Attentive Care receives consistent praise for the quality and professionalism of its caregivers and its training program. Reviewers highlight compassionate, respectful aides who present professionally and arrive punctually. The agency’s RN-led PCA/HHA classes and free certification opportunities are repeatedly noted as a strong entry pathway into home care work; instructors and specific trainers are described as engaging, thorough, and effective in preparing aides for fieldwork. Onboarding and orientation are characterized as well organized, clear, and supportive, with hands-on instruction and practical materials that leave new hires feeling prepared.

Office communication and responsiveness are another recurring strength. Families and employees describe fast intake, proactive follow-up from HR/coordinators, and helpful problem-resolution when issues arise. The agency is described as flexible about scheduling and accommodating client or employee availability, with mechanisms in place for training, paperwork assistance, and quick hiring processes. Several reviewers specifically praise the agency for assisting with job placement after certification, which increases perceived value for trainees and new caregivers.

Reliability is generally portrayed positively: reviewers report dependable shift coverage, prompt caregiver responses, and effective coordination between office staff and in-home teams. Value is reinforced by the combination of free training, certification, and apparent support for continuing education (including memory-care training), which families and prospective employees view as a practical benefit. The overall tone across reviews is highly favorable, with many recommending the agency for both receiving and providing care.

Notable operational concerns appear in a minority of comments and merit attention. A privacy-related issue—use of cameras or in-home surveillance—was raised and creates discomfort for some clients and staff; families and prospective clients should confirm the agency’s policies on surveillance and consent. There are also isolated remarks suggesting workplace culture and staff recognition could be stronger, and occasional administrative or scheduling errors were reported (typically described as resolvable). A few comments point to challenges managing demanding family expectations and to variability in case assignments or case volume. These items do not dominate the overall picture but represent areas where prospective clients and employees may want to ask specific questions during intake (for example about surveillance policy, case-assignment processes, and staff-recognition or escalation procedures).

In sum, Attentive Care presents as a well-organized, training-focused agency with strong caregiver skills, responsive office support, and flexible scheduling practices. The primary patterns to probe further are privacy/surveillance policies, administrative consistency, and how the agency supports staff recognition and manages complex family dynamics. For families and job-seekers who prioritize formal training, hands-on orientation, and responsive coordination, the agency’s strengths are aligned with those priorities.
