    Reliable compassionate 24/7 dementia care

I hired them for 24/7 live-in dementia care for my mom and overall had a very positive experience. The caregivers were compassionate, professional and skilled with transfers, bathroom help and meal prep; they managed mood changes, urgent needs and kept safety a priority. The owner and office were responsive, setup was easy, and the personalized approach noticeably improved my mom's quality of life and gave our family real peace of mind. I highly recommend their reliable, attentive in-home dementia care.

    Summary of reviews

The collected reviews portray BONJOUR as an agency that emphasizes compassionate, skillful in-home care, with particularly strong recognition for dementia support and 24/7 live-in services. Caregivers are repeatedly described as patient, attentive, and competent in transfers, bathing assistance, meal preparation, and mood management. Families cite improvements in client comfort and independence, and many highlight the agency’s ability to provide continuity of one-on-one care that contributes to perceived quality-of-life gains and peace of mind.

Communication and management are frequent points of praise. Reviewers note prompt, accessible office staff and an owner who is available and responsive; the agency is described as providing clear explanations, timely follow-up, and an easy setup process. Several accounts single out a structured intake and needs-assessment process, along with family education and meaningful involvement of relatives in care planning. There is also mention of practical supports such as a backup nurse, live-in drivers, and urgent-response capability.

Reliability and scheduling receive consistent positive attention, particularly for clients needing round-the-clock coverage or specialized dementia care. Many families emphasize dependable shift coverage, responsive scheduling changes, and effective live-in arrangements. The service mix appears to include both long-term live-in models and short-term post-operative or recovery support, though the dominant theme in reviews is ongoing, continuous care rather than sporadic hourly visits.

Areas for prospective clients to check further are suggested by what is not emphasized in the reviews. The agency appears regionally concentrated (New Jersey/Union County references), so geographic availability outside that area should be confirmed. The focus on 24-hour/live-in and specialized dementia services implies a care model that may differ from lower-cost hourly options; families should verify pricing, billing procedures, and insurance/benefit handling up front. Finally, while anecdotal feedback is strongly positive and management accessibility is praised, there is limited public outcome data or independent performance metrics referenced in reviews; some families may wish to request formal quality indicators or references during intake.

Overall, BONJOUR presents as a caregiver-focused agency with evident strengths in dementia care, personalized attention, and hands-on management. Prospective clients and families who prioritize continuous, relationship-based in-home care and who are located within the agency’s service region will likely find the agency aligned with those needs; those seeking wide geographic coverage, strictly hourly-only models, or transparent third-party outcome measures should confirm those specifics during the inquiry process.
