    Professional compassionate reliable in-home care

I'm very pleased with the agency - staff were professional, compassionate, and often went above and beyond to keep my mother at home. They handled insurance and out-of-state medication logistics, provided excellent RN and home-infusion support, and were reliable with on-time meds, supplies and after-hours communication. Courteous phone staff, flexible scheduling and proactive reminders made managing care much easier. Overall a very good, dependable choice I would recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression Rochester Home Infusion is consistently described as a clinically capable, service-oriented home infusion and in-home care provider. Reviewers emphasize clinical competence — particularly among the RNs — and frequent praise centers on caregivers who are described as compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable. The agency is credited with practical supports beyond bedside care, including insurance navigation, coordination with outside healthcare teams, and help arranging complex medication logistics.

Caregiver quality and clinical support The reviews indicate strong clinical staffing, with registered nurses highlighted for professionalism, competence, and respectful demeanor. Caregivers are repeatedly characterized as caring and sympathetic, and families note that staff often go beyond basic duties to maintain client comfort and independence. Home infusion support is specifically mentioned, suggesting the agency is able to manage medically complex needs in the home setting.

Communication and reliability Communication is a clear strength: reviewers note proactive reminders, follow-up, and courteous telephone interactions. Timely delivery of medications and supplies, door-to-door service, and on-time visits are recurring positives. Many reviewers also appreciated after-hours availability and the agency’s willingness to coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team. These elements contribute to a perception of reliability and responsiveness.

Scheduling, flexibility, and logistics The agency appears to offer flexible scheduling, including day/night and weekend coverage, and families report that scheduling accommodated travel and helped clients remain at home. Additional logistical supports — such as assistance with insurance, savings programs, and out-of-state medication coordination — are described as valuable practical benefits that reduce family burden.

Value, management, and notable patterns The dominant pattern in the reviews is highly favorable: clinical competence, compassionate caregivers, and strong communication. That said, one review simply described a "terrible experience," indicating that client experiences may vary. This suggests some variability in quality control or case management for particular situations. Families considering the agency should therefore confirm continuity-of-care practices, escalation and grievance procedures, and how the agency manages outlier incidents during the intake conversation. Asking for references or examples of how the agency handles missed visits or clinical escalations can help set expectations.

Bottom line Rochester Home Infusion presents as a well-regarded local provider for home infusion and in-home care, with notable strengths in nursing competence, caregiver compassion, proactive communication, and logistical support. Prospective clients should verify operational details (caregiver continuity, incident escalation, and billing transparency) during intake to reduce the risk of an inconsistent experience.
