    Professional attentive caregivers, highly recommended

I had a very positive experience with CenterWell - the caregivers were professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring. They worked well with therapists, my loved one enjoyed sessions and made wonderful progress; caregivers like Tasha, Cecille, Carrie and Sara Plank stood out. I highly recommend them, with only minor room for improvement.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The reviews reflect a predominantly positive experience with CenterWell Home Health - Annapolis on frontline caregiving and clinical coordination. Reviewers consistently describe caregivers as compassionate, personable, and clinically capable; many families highlighted strong relationships between clients and individual aides or therapists and praised the agency's integration of nursing and therapy services. Several reviewers used terms such as attentive, thorough, and supportive when describing direct-care staff, and a number of specific caregivers and therapists were singled out for praise.

Caregiver quality: The dominant pattern is that caregivers are skilled, caring, and effective at building rapport with clients. Multiple comments emphasize clinical competence, patience, and an ability to work collaboratively with therapy teams to advance patient progress. That said, a small subset of reviewers described significant concerns about caregiver competency and trustworthiness; these descriptions appear isolated but are sufficiently serious that prospective clients should ask about hiring, training, and supervision practices when considering service.

Office communication and accountability: Many families praised the warmth and helpfulness of office staff, but there are repeated references to lapses in follow-up and communication. These fall into two categories: (1) families wanting clearer, more consistent updates about care and therapy progress; and (2) difficulty getting timely responses from the office when concerns arise. Taken together, these suggest an opportunity for the agency to strengthen routine family communications and to clarify escalation and accountability pathways when care issues are raised.

Reliability, scheduling, and punctuality: Several reviewers described punctual, professional staff and appreciated flexible scheduling accommodations. Conversely, others noted variability—late arrivals, short notice for schedule changes, and inconsistent updates following shifts. This mixed pattern indicates generally good reliability for many clients but enough variability that families should confirm scheduling lead times, expected notification practices, and back-up coverage procedures during intake.

Billing and value: Reviewers expressed gratitude for the care provided and several offered explicit recommendations, implying perceived value. There is limited direct commentary on billing or cost transparency in the available summaries, so no strong conclusion about billing practices can be drawn from these reviews alone.

Notable patterns and recommendations: Strengths center on caregiver compassion, clinical skill, and effective therapy collaboration. Areas for improvement are operational: clearer and more consistent family communications, firmer accountability and follow-up processes, and more predictable scheduling/notification practices. Prospective clients may benefit from asking the agency about specific policies for caregiver assignment continuity, how they document and relay shift updates to families, the process for raising concerns and expected response times, and what back-up staffing looks like when a caregiver is unavailable.
